轉知 World Glaucoma Week(March 6 to 12)
World Glaucoma Week is a unique global initiative organised by the World Glaucoma Association (WGA). Running from March 6 to 12, the health promotion event aims to raise awareness of early glaucoma testing and treatment to preserve sight.
Glaucoma is the leading cause of preventable irreversible blindness and currently affects approximately 80 million people around the world — about half of whom are unaware that they have the disease or may not have access to much-needed care. Glaucoma is a growing public health concern that needs more attention and effective eye-health systems.
